Wines of simple refinement Cultivated in arid, sun-soaked soils, where the vines
rub shoulders with the wild scrubland of the garrigue, the wines of
Lirac bear the hallmark of their terroir. Red Lirac wines To the eye, these are distinguished by their beautifully intense colours. Their deep-ruby complexion gleams with tints of intense blush pink. On the nose, a bouquet of red fruits, black fruits, garrigue and spices. With time they take on a noble stature, revealing notes of leather, liquorice, truffles and cocoa. On the palate, finesse is their middle name. And yet this finesse conceals a richness and ample texture that promise long life. This texture gains in prominence, becoming more pronounced and lush. Rosé Lirac wines The rosés of Lirac have a dazzling, fairly dark colour. They give off highly seductive aromas of strawberries, raspberries and other red fruits. Their main character trait is the balanced taste and generous feeling on the palate. This full flavour is coupled with impressive freshness and very good aromatic complexity. These wines’ full body means they can stand up to strong-tasting and spicy food: tagines, bouillabaisse, stuffed aubergines and tomatoes… They also make a perfect complement for Asian and Oriental cuisine. White Lirac wines Lirac’s whites are graced with a clear,
luminous colour and a glimmering disc. The bouquet reveals a palette
of both floral and fruity aromas. They offer notes of acacia, lime
trees and fennel, which mingle with fragrances of white peaches, apples
and exotic fruits.
