The “refined power” of Lirac wines.
Of the 13 crus in the Rhône Valley family, Lirac
AOC wines convey the facets of their personality according to a common
theme: elegance and refinement. Behind this gentle exterior lie wines
of astonishing richness and complexity.
This “refined power” is a character trait of Lirac wines,
making them unique among their peers and the cream of the Rhône
Valley crop. Theirs is a world of essentially feminine values.
Red Lirac wines
To
the eye, these are distinguished by their beautifully intense colours.
Their deep-ruby complexion gleams with tints of intense blush pink.
On the nose, a bouquet of red fruits, black fruits, garrigue ans spices.
With time they take on a noble stature, revealing notes of leather,
liquorice, truffles and cocoa.
On
the palate, finesse is their middle name. And yet this finesse conceals
a richness and ample texture that promise long life. This texture
gains in prominence, becoming more pronounced and lush.

Rosé Lirac wines
The rosés of Lirc have dazzling, fairly dark
colour. They give off highly seductive aromas of strawberries, raspberries
and other red fruits.
Their main character trait is the balance taste and genourous feeling
on the palate.
This full flavor is coupled with impressive frehness and very good
aromatic complexity. These wines' full body means they can stand up
to strong-tasting and spicy food: tagines, bouillabaise, stuffed aubergines
and tomatoes... They also make a perfect complement for Asian and
Oriental cuisine.
White
Lirac wines
Lirac's whites are graced with a clear, luminous colour
and a glimmering disc. The bouquet reveals a palette of both floral
and fruity aromas.
They offer notes of acacia, lime trees and fennel, which mingle with
fragrances of white peaches, apples and exotic fruits.
With time, these aromas evolve into hints of honey and garrigue :
laurel and plant essences. On the palette, these wines are subtle,
delicate and strongly fragrant, and leave a pleasantly freh sensation
on the finish.
